British designer Gareth Pugh is virtually astonishing. He captivated his audience with a digital fashion film presentation shown in Pairs on a giant screen at Parc de Bercy sports stadium. He then continued to impress with his futuristic catwalk show presenting some of the coolest clothes I have seen all summer.
It is like something off a star-wars film, the colour is pretty much all silver with a similar faded out print throughout. The colour doesn’t seem to matter though as the way the clothes are sewn together is unbelievable. I couldn’t even try to think of how to put them together! Trousers were tight with leather at the bottoms with zips to get them on/off. Shapes were sharp and very rigid yet the dresses seemed to flow gracefully.
My favourite outfit was a psychedelic silver and metallic dress with trousers which looked like it was made from moveable metal!
