NYF day three: Cynthia does lady-like sex

It was an early start for Cynthia Rowley whose models walked in with quite a bounce showing off the intricate pastel themed designs.

Baby blues, salmon pinks, yellows, whites, each piece had a unique special element, whether it was sheer see-through stripes, laser cut out circular shapes or busy sequin embellishments. Silky floor length gowns floated down the runway teamed with 70’s necklaces in solid bar shapes. I loved the combination of see through shirts, bold prints, buttons, and mixing two sharp patterns on the same look.

Rowley quoted ‘I wanted to challenge myself’. The invisible striping element and holed out garments were a small push in the direction of sex. She did not want to over-do it, I think it worked as the clothes were lady-like but a little naughty.

In retrospect... it was a pretty good show.
